12 Month Limited Warranty
1. In addition to the warranties implied by the Trade Practices ACT 1974(Cth) or any other law, Aussie Living warrants that your product is supplied free of material defect.
2. A claim under the Warranty must be submitted to Aussie Living Furniture within 12 months of the date of purchase, validated by providing a copy of the original sales order or tax invoice.
3. Liability for breach of this Warranty and, to the extent leagally permitted, liability for breach of any warranty, condition or right that is implied under the Trade Practices ACT 1974(Cth) or equivalent legislation which cannot be excluded, will be limited, at Aussie Living Furniture's option, to the replacement or repair of the Product or the supply of an equivalent product.
4. This warranty is subject to the Product being cared for in accordance with the relevant care instructions.
5. This Warranty is limited to the original purchaser at the original delivery address.
6.To the extent permitted by law, Aussie Living Furniture is not liable, whether in contract, tort( including negligence), under any statute or otherwise, for or in respect of:
a) normal wear and tear;
b) the natural characteristics of the product;
c) damage caused by any spills such as acid, solvents, dyes or other corrosive materials, ink, paint or bodily fluids;
d) damage caused by improper cleaning, negligence, treatment of the product with chemicals, exposing the product to the sun, extreme heat or bright light such as lamps; and
e) the cost of transporting the product to and/or from the specified place of repair or replacement.
7. You acknowledge and agree that the Product is handmade and therefore the size and weight of the Product may vary by up to 10% from the sample product or from any product specifications you have been quoted.
8. Subject to any warranty, condition or right implied by the Trade Practice ACT 1974(cth) or any other law which may not be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement, all implied conditions, warranties and rights are excluded.
9. Except as set out in this 12 Month Limited Warranty and Aussie Living Furniture's 5 Year Timber Warranty, and as provided under any warranty, condition or right implied by the Trade Practices ACT 1974(Cth) or any other law which may not be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement, Aussie Living Furniture will not be liable, whether in contract, in tort(including negligence), under any statute or otherwise, for any loss or damage of any kind in connnection with the Product.
5 Year Timber Warranty
1. In addition to the warranties implied by the Trade Practices ACT 1974(Cth) or any other law, Aussie Living warrants the Timber structure and framework of your product is supplied free of material defect (Warranty).
2. A claim under this 5 Year Timber Warranty must be submitted to Aussie Living Furniture within 7 days of the defect appearing to avoid further damage. A copy of the original sales order or tax invoice must be submitted with your claim.
3. This 5 Year Timber Warranty does not apply to reclilner and sofa bed mechnisms.
4. To the extent legally permitted liability for breach of this 5 Year Timber Warranty and liability for any breach of any warranty, condition or right that is implied under the Trade Practices ACT 1974(cth) or equivalent legislation which cannot be excluded, will be limited, at Aussie Living Furniture's option, to the replacement or repair of the Product or the supply of an equivalent product.

6. To the extent permitted by law, Aussie Living Furniture is not liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), under any statute or otherwise, for or in respect of:
a) tears, fading, wearing, creasing or piling of fabric or leather;
b) damage caused by improper use or handling of the lounge;
c) damage caused by by misuse or improper cleaning, negligence or treatment of the lounge with chemicals;
d) damage caused by spills such as acid, solvents, dyes, ink, paint, bodily fluids or other corrosive materials and;
e) the cost of transporting the Product to and/or from the specified place of repair or replacement.
7.Subject to any warranty, condition or right implied by the Trade Practices ACT 1974 (cth) or any other law which may not be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement, all implied conditions, warranties and rights are excluded.
